Pool renovations. Epoxy pool paint. Free quotes here. Need to paint your pool?
Direct Pool Supplies now has available the Luxa-Pool paint suitable for pools, ponds & fountains. We have available Chlorinated Rubber and the more widely used 2 pack Epoxy Pool Coating.
With a Marblesheen, Pebblecrete Fibreglass or a Concrete (Painted), pool/spa, generally after 15-20 years the original surface will be worn, tired and need to be resurfaced. It may even be less than10 years if the pool surface is poorly finished or has had a lot or wear and tear.
Over time you will find the pool surface starts to break down and becomes porous, becomes difficult to keep clean, harbouring dirt and bacteria. It may even start to crack and blister. Certainly it will have lost it “when new” finish.
On no account should pool water be allowed to get into the pool structure. If water does, it will cause expensive (corrosion/rotting) damage to the structure.
The advantages of painting your pool (& spa) are:
- Decorative - Over 20 colours available in the Luxa-Pool range
- Seamless
- Easy to clean
- Long lasting
- Economic
- Can “do it yourself”
.We recommend at least two coats of epoxy pool paint (preferably three) for a longer lasting finish.
We have available all the application data sheets, colour charts for all types of pool surfaces to help you through the DIY process. Make sure you read carefully all the instructions as preparation is most important.
All the information you will require is available for download on the following page. Print out all these sheets and read through them carefully. We also have some videos on acid washing & painting your pool which should be very beneficial.
Download the pool area calculator here so you know how much paint you require.. Full colour chart here
