This innovative Alarm System consists of a Wireless Base Station Unit, which acts as a Wireless Signal Receiver. Also included are Fish Wrist Bands, which act as Wireless Signal Transmitters, similar to a watch, which are attractive to children and can be securely attached to a child's wrist using the included security key. If the fish Wrist Band touches water it will sound off an alarm at the base station.
The wireless range of this Alarm System between the Wireless Base Station Unit and Fish Wrist Bands is 60 metres (200 feet).
The Wireless Base Station Unit can be powered from Mains Power Supply using the 12V DC Power Adaptor or by a rechargeable 9V Battery (not supplied). The Battery inside the Fish Wrist Band will last for approximately 3 years with continual use.
It is recommended that the Wireless Base Station Unit is only to be installed inside your house when using the Alarm System to help safe guard your children from Pool or Spa accidents. However, as the Wireless Base Station can be powered by a rechargeable 9V Battery, this Alarm System is portable and can also be used on fishing and camping trips, picnics, trips to the beach, or wherever you might take your children when there will be pools, spas, rivers, lakes, ponds, dams or the beach are nearby.
Never install the Wireless Base Station Unit in an outdoor shed or against the exterior wall of a house where it might be tampered with. Always ensure there are no obstacles, such as metal sheds or walls between the "line-of-sight" of the "Pool Protector" Pool and Wireless Remote Receiver Unit's, as these obstacles will interfere with the wireless operation of the "Child Guard" Child Anti-Drowning Alarm System.
