• Regularly brush the algae with a stainless steel pool brush. This will break down the outer membrane to allow for effective treatment penetration
• For a small outbreak, apply a chlorine tablet directly to the area
• Apply glandular chlorine directly to the blackspot algae, and leave overnight.
