Unlimted suction settings for suction pool cleaner

I bought this adjustable skimmer box to use with a Zodiac MX8 suction pool cleaner. The skimmer box can be adjusted to any unlimited suction setting, so I have been able to have the pool cleaner work at optimum speed. The suction adjustment supplied with the cleaner itself has only 3 suction settings and with my large pool pump the cleaner was going far too fast which can damage it.
