Lateral Assembly that can used in any 40mm sand filter. It comes with a Lateral Assembly, a 125ml PVC Pipe Cement, and a 40mm coupling.
The diameter of the laterals is 460mm.
Note that the laterals, once extended as they are in the pictures can't be folded back up without taking it apart, resetting the lateral positions and putting it back together.
The steam height can be raised by using 40mm couplings and 40mm pipe as shown below.
The base can also height can be increased by using 40mm pipe, no coupling required as shown below. Note that you want to laterals as close to the bottom as possible.
