Lo-Chlor Miraclear Liquid Pool Clarifier is 20% stronger than competing clarifiers, turning cloudy pool water clear within hours of application.

Cloudy water is typically caused by fine particles too small for the filter to catch on its own. Miraclear binds these particles into larger clumps that the filter removes easily — restoring water clarity without the downtime of a floc-and-vacuum treatment.

Choosing your size: The 1L suits most residential pool owners — at the weekly maintenance dose it provides around 10 treatments for a 50,000L pool. The 5L is economical for larger pools or those needing regular clarifier treatment, particularly post-algae. The 20L is for service professionals and commercial pools.

For severely murky pools where debris needs to settle before vacuuming, Lo-Chlor Maxi-Floc Plus is more effective. For ongoing maintenance with minimal effort, the Lo-Chlor Miraclear Cube dissolves slowly in the skimmer box for up to 30 days of continuous clarification. After using Lo-Chlor Algae Knock-Out to kill a green pool, follow up with Miraclear Liquid to clear dead matter from suspension.

Dead algae and fine particles are commonly suspended after a chlorine shock. Adding Miraclear Clarifier 24 hours after shocking clears the residue and restores water sparkle.

Miraclear clarifier does not interact with mineral or magnesium system components. It works purely on suspended particle coagulation and has no effect on sanitiser chemistry.

❓ FAQ▾
What's the difference between a clarifier and a flocculant?▾
A clarifier (like Miraclear) coagulates fine particles into slightly larger clumps your filter can then remove — no vacuuming needed. A flocculant (like Lo-Chlor Maxi-Floc Plus) binds particles into large clumps that sink to the pool floor, which you then vacuum to waste. Clarifiers are more convenient; flocculants are more powerful for very murky water.
Will it affect my chlorine or pH?▾
No — Miraclear is pH-neutral and does not interact with chlorine, salt or any sanitiser system. It purely addresses water clarity with no effect on water chemistry.
My water is still cloudy after 24 hours. What now?▾
First check your filter is running and backwash if pressure is elevated. If cloudiness persists after a second dose, the cause may be something Miraclear can't address — very high calcium hardness, active algae growth, or a chemical imbalance. For extreme cases, switch to Lo-Chlor Maxi-Floc Plus which settles debris to the floor for vacuuming.
Which size is right for me?▾
The 1L is ideal for most residential pools — it's enough for regular maintenance use or a single emergency treatment.
