📋 How it works▾

AquaFresh Enhance is the algae prevention and water clarity component of the AquaFresh non-chlorine pool system — formulated to prevent algae growth and assist filtration in PHMB-sanitised pools. The 5L is the most economical size for ongoing weekly maintenance or for larger pools running the AquaFresh non-chlorine system.

Within the AquaFresh system, Enhance plays the role that algaecide and clarifier play in a chlorine system — preventing algae establishment and improving water clarity. It's specifically designed to complement AquaFresh Sanitiser and cannot be substituted with a standard copper-based algaecide in a PHMB system.

Add with the pump running. Do not mix with other pool chemicals directly — add separately.

Weekly maintenance

❓ FAQ▾
Can I use a standard copper-based algaecide in my AquaFresh pool?▾
No — copper-based algaecides can react with PHMB and cause water problems. Only use AquaFresh Enhance for algae prevention in an AquaFresh system.
Does Enhance replace the sanitiser?▾
No — Enhance is an algae prevention and clarity product, not a sanitiser. AquaFresh Sanitiser handles disinfection. Both products serve different roles and need to be used together.
My AquaFresh pool has gone slightly green. What do I do?▾
Increase the Enhance dose and check your AquaFresh Sanitiser level — green water in a PHMB system usually indicates the PHMB level has dropped. Test with the AquaFresh Test Kit, restore Sanitiser to 40–50 ppm, and dose Enhance at the treatment rate.
