What does the algae inhibitor in the 2-in-1 do?▾
The algae inhibitor provides background protection against green and black algae — reducing the likelihood of algae establishing between your regular algaecide doses. It's not a substitute for a dedicated algaecide like Lo-Chlor Pool Algaecide, but it adds an extra layer of protection within the clarifier itself.
How does this compare to Ultra-Kleer 4-in-1?▾
The 2-in-1 covers clarification and algae inhibition. The Ultra-Kleer 4-in-1 adds phosphate removal and scale prevention to those two functions. If you're on bore water or hard water, or you have a recurring phosphate problem, the 4-in-1 is the more comprehensive choice. If you primarily want clarity plus algae protection, the 2-in-1 is simpler and more economical.
Can I use this in a spa or small pool?▾
Yes — scale the dose proportionally for your water volume. For a 10,000L spa, use approximately 20ml per weekly treatment.
Will it affect my saltwater pool?▾
No — Ultra-Kleer 2-in-1 is pH neutral and does not interact with salt chlorination systems or any sanitiser type.
