For pool owners who want to simplify their chemical routine without compromising on water quality, the 4-in-1 handles four common pool maintenance needs simultaneously — reducing the number of individual products required and making weekly treatment more efficient.

Add directly to pool water with the pump running. Do not add to the skimmer box. Run filter for at least 8 hours after application.

Does the 4-in-1 replace all my other chemicals?▾
It replaces the need for separate clarifier, algae inhibitor, phosphate remover and scale preventer in your weekly routine. It does not replace your primary sanitiser (chlorine or salt), your dedicated algaecide like Lo-Chlor Pool Algaecide, or shock treatments. Think of it as simplifying your weekly top-up routine, not replacing your full chemical program.
How is this different from the Ultra-Kleer 2-in-1?▾
The Ultra-Kleer 2-in-1 covers clarification and algae inhibition. The 4-in-1 adds phosphate removal and scale prevention. If you're on hard water, bore water, or you have recurring phosphate issues, the 4-in-1 is worth the additional cost. If your water source is relatively clean and soft, the 2-in-1 covers the essentials more economically.
Will the phosphate removal in this replace Starver X?▾
For maintenance of low phosphate levels, yes — the 4-in-1 keeps phosphates from building up between treatments. For initial knockdown of high phosphate concentrations (above 600 ppb), you still need Lo-Chlor Starver X. Use Starver X first if levels are elevated, then maintain with the 4-in-1 weekly.
Which size is right for me?▾
For most residential pool owners, the 5L provides around 10 months of weekly maintenance on a 50,000L pool — good value for ongoing use. Try the 1L first if you want to test the product before committing to a larger size. The 20L drum is for pools requiring bulk supply.
