3-in-1 models (AquaSense and AquaSense 2) clean the floor, walls and waterline. 5-in-1 models add active surface skimming and water clarification to every cycle. If surface debris is a regular problem, go 5-in-1, or pair a 3-in-1 with the iSkim.

Not necessarily. A 5-in-1 skims the surface during its cleaning cycle, then gets on with the floor and walls. The iSkim does nothing but the surface, all day, on solar power, with a 9 litre basket. If your pool sits under gum trees or cops a lot of leaf drop, running both means debris gets caught between cycles instead of sinking while you wait for the next one.

No. The iSkim is a dedicated surface skimmer. It catches leaves, pollen and insects before they sink, which is where most of the organic load in an Australian pool comes from. For the floor, walls and waterline, pair it with any AquaSense model.

No, the mains charger is sold separately and brings it to full charge in around 4.5 hours. Day to day the iSkim runs on its 24W solar panel, and a full battery alone lasts more than 28 hours with no sun at all. Most owners keep a charger on hand for long overcast stretches.

Yes. Every model is compatible with both saltwater and chlorinated pools, and works across concrete, fibreglass and tiled surfaces in above ground and in ground pools.

Gen 2 AquaSense models have significantly upgraded hardware: more sensors, more motors, larger batteries, bigger filter baskets and improved navigation. They also have an automotive grade coating designed for Australian sun and heat.

No. Every model connects to the Beatbot app via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, so you can schedule cleans, select modes and check performance from anywhere. AquaSense models return to the surface when they finish, and the iSkim parks itself at the pool edge.
