Sterns is a proudly Australian
company. All pool structures and PVC liners are made in their factory in Lurnea, New South Wales.
As the name suggests, a modular pool is made of panels and elements that
can be configured to create a range of shapes and sizes. In many respects, it is the next generation of above ground pools.
Both can be installed above ground, but a modular pool can rest partially in-ground if the site is not level and some excavation is required. An
in-ground pool is usually made of fibreglass or concrete and is both expensive and difficult to install.
However, a modular pool can be also installed in-ground and achieve the same look and feel but for a fraction of the cost.
