Common questions

Do Telsa vacuums connect to my pump or filter?

No. Every Telsa runs on its own battery and catches debris in its own bag, filter or chamber. Nothing plugs into the skimmer and the pump can stay off.

Which Telsa is best for a spa?

For a standard spa, the Telsa 05 handles sand and grit and comes with its own pole. If your spa collects a lot of sand, the Telsa 50 pulls harder at 95 L/min. For a swim spa or longer sessions, the Telsa 33 Ultra runs for 50 minutes with a 1 L chamber.

Which Telsa is best for a pool?

The Telsa 90 is built for medium to large pool floors, with a head that extends to 43 cm and a 75 minute runtime. The Telsa PWRBLADE 120 cleans walls as well as floors, runs for up to 90 minutes and holds around 6 L of debris. The Telsa 33 Ultra suits smaller pools up to 40 m³.

Do I need to buy a pole?

The Telsa 05 comes with five 40 cm aluminium pole sections. Every other model fits any standard telescopic pool pole, sold separately.

Can I run a Telsa out of the water?

Keep them submerged. Several models only switch on when they sense water, and running the Telsa 33 Ultra out of the water can damage the motor.

Is a Telsa a replacement for a robotic cleaner?

Not quite. A robotic cleaner runs on its own cycle. A Telsa is a hands-on vacuum for spot cleans, spas and the corners a robot misses. Plenty of pool owners run both.
