🫧 What Anti Foam does▾
The 5L Anti Foam is for commercial spas, high-traffic installations or facilities managing multiple units. The formula is identical to the 500ml: fast-acting, safe on all surfaces and equipment, compatible with all AquaSpa chemicals. Buying in bulk reduces the per-dose cost and eliminates repeated small orders.
Foam in a spa is a surfactant problem caused by body products, oils and cosmetics lowering the water's surface tension. A small amount added directly to foam usually clears it within minutes. For facilities with multiple spas and frequent bather loads, foam is a recurring operational issue and bulk supply is the practical response.
Add directly to foam with the pump running. Very small amounts are sufficient.

❓ FAQ▾
How do I dose Anti Foam in a commercial setting?▾
Add directly to the foam with the pump running. Use a small amount and wait 5 minutes before adding more. At commercial scale it helps to keep a spray bottle filled with a diluted Anti Foam solution for quick spot dosing.
Foam keeps coming back after every session. What is the underlying cause?▾
Persistent foam at commercial scale usually means body product residue is accumulating in the pipework. Run Pipe Klenz at the next water change and increase the frequency of Spa Shock treatments. Anti Foam manages the symptom; Pipe Klenz and Shock address the cause.
Does Anti Foam affect water chemistry?▾
No. Anti Foam does not affect pH, sanitiser levels or total alkalinity.
Is the 5L formula different from the 500ml?▾
No. The formula is identical to the 500ml. The 5L is simply the bulk size for commercial or multi-spa use.
