🧪 What it does▾
AquaSpa Sanitiser and chlorine cannot coexist. Chlorine deactivates the polyhexanide biocide at the heart of the AquaSpa system, which means any residual chlorine in the water at startup will prevent the sanitiser from working. AquaSpa Chlorine Remover neutralises chlorine and bromine quickly, clearing the way for the AquaSpa system to begin.
There are two scenarios where this product is essential: switching from a chlorine or bromine spa system, and filling a new spa from a tap that uses municipal water treatment. Town water contains chlorine at low levels. Without Chlorine Remover, even a fresh fill from the tap will interfere with the first sanitiser dose.

❓ FAQ▾
My tap water has low chlorine levels. Do I still need this?▾
Yes. Even low-level chlorine in tap water is enough to interfere with AquaSpa Sanitiser. Dose Chlorine Remover with every fresh fill before adding the sanitiser, then confirm with the test kit that chlorine reads zero before proceeding.
How do I know when the chlorine is gone?▾
Use the 4-in-1 Test Kit to test after 30 minutes. If the reading is still above zero, dose again and retest. Do not add sanitiser until you confirm zero chlorine.
Can I use Chlorine Remover if I accidentally added chlorine to an AquaSpa spa?▾
Yes. Dose Chlorine Remover, wait 30 minutes, and test. Repeat if needed until the reading is zero. You can then resume the AquaSpa routine once confirmed clear.
Does Chlorine Remover affect pH or alkalinity?▾
No. It specifically targets chlorine and bromine and does not affect pH, alkalinity or calcium hardness.
