Your spa filter is doing the heavy lifting that water chemistry cannot. Oils, body fats, calcium scale and fine debris compact in the filter pleats with every use, progressively reducing filtration efficiency without any obvious visible sign. AquaSpa Instant Filter Klenz removes all of it. Spray it on, leave for a few minutes, hose off. No soaking, no dismantling, no waiting overnight.

A clean filter is essential for Spa Kleer and Spa Shock to work properly: both rely on the filter to collect the particles and residue they bind and break down. A clogged filter defeats both treatments. Regular Klenz use keeps the filter working at full capacity and extends its service life considerably.

📏 How to use▾

Remove the filter cartridge before cleaning. Do not spray inside the spa.

Standard clean
Spray on

Remove cartridge. Spray Klenz over the pleats. Leave for 3 to 5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with a hose and allow to dry before reinstalling.
Heavily soiled filter
Two applications

Apply Klenz, leave for 5 minutes, rinse. Repeat a second time if the filter is heavily loaded with scale or oil.
Cleaning frequency
Every 4-6 uses
or monthly
More frequent cleaning in high-use spas or periods with high bather load.

How often should I clean my filter?▾
After every 4 to 6 uses is the recommended minimum. In summer or under heavy use, cleaning weekly will maintain better filtration and extend the cartridge's working life.
Do I need to soak the filter overnight?▾
No. AquaSpa Instant Filter Klenz is a spray-on, hose-off formula. Spray the pleats, wait 3 to 5 minutes, rinse thoroughly. For heavily soiled filters a second application helps, but soaking is not needed.
How do I know when the filter needs replacing rather than just cleaning?▾
If the filter is discoloured, has damaged or collapsed pleats, or does not return to normal water clarity after cleaning, it is time to replace it. Filters typically last 12 to 24 months with regular cleaning.
Why does Spa Kleer work better after I clean the filter?▾
Spa Kleer binds oil particles into clusters that the filter then needs to collect. A clogged filter cannot collect them efficiently. Keeping the filter clean with Klenz is what allows Kleer to do its job properly.
