AquaSpa is a chlorine and bromine-free spa sanitation system developed by Lo-Chlor. The range covers sanitiser, shock, clarifier, water balancers, and filter and pipe care for residential spas, hot tubs and swim spas.
The pipe system inside a spa is warm, consistently moist and impossible to inspect. Biofilm, body fats and organic residue build up in the pipework between every water change regardless of how well the surface water is managed. Draining and refilling without cleaning the pipes means the new water immediately contacts old residue. AquaSpa Pipe Klenz is a concentrated cleaner that runs through the system before you drain, removing what accumulates out of sight.
Pipe Klenz is also the essential first step when switching to AquaSpa from a chlorine or bromine system. Chemical residue in the pipes will deactivate the sanitiser even after a full water change. Running Pipe Klenz before refilling removes it completely.

❓ FAQ▾
How do I know if there is biofilm in my pipes?▾
You usually cannot tell until you run a pipe cleaner. The tell-tale signs are a persistent musty smell in the water, cloudiness that returns despite correct chemistry, or unexplained sanitiser demand. Running Pipe Klenz at every water change prevents build-up from developing to the point where you would notice it.
Can I skip Pipe Klenz if I changed the water recently?▾
Only if you ran it at the last water change. Organic residue and biofilm accumulate continuously regardless of how well the surface water is managed. Skipping means the residue stays in the pipes and contacts the new fill immediately.
I am switching from chlorine. Why do I need Pipe Klenz?▾
Chlorine residue in the pipework will deactivate AquaSpa Sanitiser even after a full water change. Pipe Klenz removes that residue completely. Follow with a dose of Chlorine Remover in the fresh fill before starting the AquaSpa system.
Does Pipe Klenz damage spa equipment?▾
No. It is formulated to be safe on all standard spa materials including PVC, rubber seals and jets. Circulate for the recommended time and drain completely before refilling.
