If you are switching from a chlorine system or starting fresh with a new spa, the AquaSpa Start Up Kit puts the core essentials in one purchase. Each product is sized for initial setup rather than long-term supply, so you can begin the AquaSpa routine correctly without buying a full-size pack of every item before you know how much you will use.

The kit contains the products needed to transition to or begin the AquaSpa system, including both the core sanitiser and the shock treatment that works alongside it, a water clarifier, and the water balance products needed for the first fill.

The kit includes Chlorine Remover and Pipe Klenz guidance for the transition. Run Pipe Klenz before draining your old water, refill, add Chlorine Remover, then start the AquaSpa system with the included products.

Yes - ideal starting point
New spa water needs to be balanced before you add sanitiser. The kit includes the balancers and test kit to do this correctly from day one.

The Start Up Kit is a practical gift for anyone setting up their first spa. It removes the guesswork about which products to buy first.

Consider individual products
Swim spas need proportionally larger quantities. The kit is sized for a standard home spa. For larger volumes, it is more economical to buy the 5L Sanitiser, 5kg Shock and 5L Kleer individually.
🚀 Getting started▾

Follow this order when setting up your AquaSpa spa for the first time.

Step 1
Prepare
the pipes
If switching from chlorine: run Pipe Klenz before draining. For new spas: proceed to filling.
Step 2
Fill and balance
the water
Fill the spa, then test and adjust pH, alkalinity and calcium hardness to the target ranges before adding sanitiser.
Step 3
Add Chlorine Remover
then Sanitiser
Add Chlorine Remover to neutralise tap water chlorine. Wait 30 minutes, confirm zero chlorine with the test kit, then add the first Sanitiser dose.
Step 4
Shock weekly
and maintain
Dose Spa Shock and Sanitiser weekly. Test water with the Test Kit each week and adjust balance as needed.
❓ FAQ▾
Does the kit include Pipe Klenz?▾
No. Pipe Klenz is sold separately. If you are switching from a chlorine or bromine system, you should run Pipe Klenz before draining and refilling. It is the step that removes chemical residue from the pipework before the AquaSpa system begins.
Is everything in the kit full size?▾
The kit is sized for initial setup rather than long-term supply. It contains enough of each product to get started correctly, but ongoing supply of the core products will need to be ordered separately once the initial quantities are used.
What test kit is included?▾
The kit includes the 4-in-1 Aquafresh Test Kit, which tests pH and sanitiser levels. It is enough to manage the weekly routine once you are set up.
My spa has an ozone generator. Does that change how I use the kit?▾
No. The AquaSpa system is compatible with ozone generators. Ozone reduces overall sanitiser demand, so you may find you need slightly less Sanitiser per dose once the system is running, but the setup process and all other products in the kit work the same way.
