AquaSpa Spa Sanitiser is the direct solution: a non-chlorine, non-bromine sanitiser approved for residential spas, hot tubs and swim spas that kills harmful bacteria and pathogens without the side effects that come with traditional chemical systems.

The active ingredient is polyhexanide hydrochloride (PHMB) at 20g/L, a proven biocide used across medical and aquatic applications for its effectiveness and gentle profile. Weekly dosing keeps your water protected without producing odours, clouding equipment or irritating skin. This is the centrepiece of the AquaSpa system, and everything else in the range is built to support it.

AquaSpa Sanitiser is designed primarily for acrylic and fibreglass home spas and hot tubs. Its non-foaming, non-corrosive formula is gentle on spa surfaces and will not degrade jets or equipment seals over time.

Compatible - adjust dose for volume
Swim spas hold significantly more water than a standard hot tub. Measure your volume accurately and dose at 60ml per 1,000L. For swim spas with high bather loads, test more frequently as demand on the sanitiser increases.

Once refilled, add AquaSpa Chlorine Remover to neutralise any chlorine in the tap water. Chlorine deactivates the sanitiser, so levels must be confirmed at zero before the first dose.
Do I still need to use Spa Shock?▾
Yes. AquaSpa Spa Shock is a non-chlorine oxidiser that removes organic compounds including body oils and residue. These accumulate faster in a heated spa environment and, without regular oxidising, lead to cloudy water and reduced sanitiser performance. Use it weekly or after heavy use.
What pH range does it work in?▾
AquaSpa Sanitiser works best in a pH range of 7.0 to 7.8. Test weekly and use AquaSpa pH Reducer to bring levels down if they rise above 7.8, or AquaSpa Alkalinity Enhancer if they drop below 7.0. Correct pH also protects your spa equipment.
