AquaSpa Spa Kleer at 2.5L is the right size for regular spa users who include clarity treatment as part of their weekly routine. Body oils and fats accumulate in heated spa water continuously. The 2.5L provides enough product for consistent weekly dosing through a full year for a standard 1,000L spa, with room for additional reactive doses when bather load is higher than usual.

Spa Kleer works as a clarifying agent, binding the fine oil and fat particles that cause water to look dull or hazy and presenting them to the filter in a form it can collect. It does not replace the sanitiser or Shock treatment: it handles the specific problem of bather-load oils, which is a separate issue from sanitation.

Dose and run filter
For stubborn haze, dose Spa Kleer and run the filter continuously for several hours. If the filter is clogged, clean it first.

Should I use Spa Kleer every week or just when needed?▾
Both approaches work. Weekly use at 10-15ml per 1,000L prevents oil build-up before it becomes visible. Reactive use at 25ml addresses haze after the fact. In a high-use spa the weekly approach is more consistent.
Does Spa Kleer work without a filter?▾
No. Kleer binds particles into clusters that need to be collected by the filter. Without a functioning, reasonably clean filter, there is nothing to remove the bound particles from the water.
How long does the 2.5L last?▾
At 10-15ml per 1,000L weekly in a 1,500L spa, the 2.5L provides around 11 to 16 months of weekly use. Reactive spot doses at 25ml reduce that, but most users find the 2.5L covers at least a full year.
Can I use Kleer and Shock together?▾
Yes. Spa Shock removes organic compounds and Kleer removes oil and fat particles. They address different problems and are compatible in the same session.
